Tonight marks Grace's spring band concert. I did her makeup for the occasion. When I was finished and stepped back to look at her, I was all teary-eyed. She is growing into such a beautiful young woman, inside and out.

We now have a membership to our local science museum. On Sunday afternoon, we decided to take part to the Mad Science experiments making bubble prints and gooey putty.

(I didn't take any pictures on Saturday...oops. We were at the waterpark and I was just too afraid since I didn't have a waterproof camera with me. So I'm counting this one for Saturday, even though I took it on Sunday! :) )

I went to the local Brookshire's today in search of a multicultural sweet treat to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at a meeting this evening. I needed something ready to serve. No cooking required. I had a little trouble. Scones are mulitcultural, don't you think? I mean, they are British. (I only know this, because I wikipedia'd it.)
