Welcome!

I'm so glad you've found your way to my corner of the internet. I started this blog as a creative outlet for my "wannabe" artistic skills. I love photography, though I'm not that experienced and my equipment is seriously lacking. Most of the photos and videos you will find here have been taken with my Polaroid digital camera that I scored on sale at Target for $69.99. Some may even come from my iphone. The most desperate ones are taken with the trusty webcam. :)

I wanted to see what I could do with this little camera. So I set off on a 365 adventure. It's simple really. Take a picture. Edit if I want to. Post the picture on Flickr. Repeat. Every day for 365 days. Along the way I decided a blog was in order. If you know me, you know I'm a multi-blogger. I love creating blogs.

So enjoy my little blog here. I do it just for fun. I don't expect to make it big with my mad photography skillz. But it's my thing, so I'm gonna do it. :)

I haven't been taking many pictures over the last few days...trying to finish up finals. But I thought I'd post anyway. This was taken at the top of the oil derrick at Six Flags. Caleb and I were both facing our fear after having a bit of a freak out moment on the elevator ride up.

Lots of memories wrapped up in this particular Bible. I am so grateful that I can show this to my son and say with complete confidence that his daddy loved God and His Word more than anything.

Tonight Caleb found a letter his dad wrote to them before he died. There were tears. There was talking. There were memories I shared with him for the first time. Caleb got to know his daddy a little better tonight. And I'm glad, but, man, this is hard sometimes.

I think I'm kind of cheating. I technically took this last week, but school is kicking my tail. Haven't had much time for much else. But I just love this one. I'm not sure if these little peppers are gonna grow much bigger, but they sure are cute, aren't they?

Camp Tyler

Camp Tyler, originally uploaded by sgcwarren.

For an end ofthe year treat, my son's class got to go to Camp Tyler. As an added treat, I was able to be off work and go with him. We saw so many farm animals, planted and picked produce from the garden, created compost, went on a hayride (minus the hay), and ended with a picnic lunch. I'm so glad I was able to go!
